Cavs Legion Gaming Club (GC) Select Six Players at Inaugural NBA 2K League Draft

Cavs Legion Gaming Club (GC) has assembled their first player roster in franchise history. The team selected six players in six rounds of the inaugural NBA 2K League Draft on Wednesday at the Hulu Theater inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. In the first round with the 16th overall pick, the team selected point guard Brandon Caicedo aka “Hood is Glitchy” (his gamertag) from Weston, Florida.
The 2018 Cavs Legion team roster features one player for each position (point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center) and one reserve player. FIRST ROUND (16th overall):
A devoted, veteran point guard who shoots well from behind the line.
SECOND ROUND (19th overall):
A high scoring center who will play hard from tip to the final second of the game.
A masterful scorer at the small forward position that leads by example. FOURTH ROUND (53rd overall):
A shooting guard with a potent long-range shot and sneaky good handles. FIFTH ROUND (84th overall):
A tenacious defensive presence committed to making his teammates better. SIXTH ROUND (87th overall):
A slashing playmaker point guard who’s a humble hero and will be a leader on the team. “This is a monumental day for Cavs Legion GC. We couldn’t be more excited about the individuals that we have drafted and the makeup of our team,” said Anthony Muraco, Cavs Legion GM. “Each player is not only extremely talented at NBA 2K, but also brings a unique skillset to the game. Greater than that though, we drafted six players who are committed to the game and possess the positive mental attitude to help lay the foundation for Cavs Legion GC in our inaugural season. We can’t wait to welcome them to Cleveland and get to work.” The NBA 2K League, a joint venture between the NBA and Take-Two Interactive, is a professional esports league featuring the best 2K players in the world. The teams will live in each respective market during the season and play the game using unique characters. The games will be played in a central studio throughout the season.
