Cavs Legion GC Acquire

Albano Thomallari “oFab” From
Celtics Crossover Gaming

Cavs Legion GC, the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, has acquired Albano Thomallari “oFab” and a 2021 4th round pick from Celtics Crossover Gaming in exchange for pick #5 and #17 in the 1st round of the upcoming 2021 NBA 2K League Draft, Head Coach Austin Peterson announced today.

oFab comes to Cleveland as one of the most accomplished players in the history of the NBA 2K League. Since being taken second overall in the inaugural NBA 2K League Draft, he has twice been an MVP finalist. He was second in the league in scoring over the last two seasons, averaging nearly 35 points per game during the 2019 campaign. He is also a two-time assist leader and led the league in steals in 2018.

“Fab is a generational talent at the most important position in the League. He’s widely respected as one of the best 2-way players in the world, and one of the best 2K players in the world in general,” said Cavs Legion Head Coach Austin Peterson. “Talent aside, this dude is a worker who can do anything once he puts his mind to it. This mentality is a perfect fit for our core group of players and represents what the City of Cleveland is all about: hard work.”

oFab is the son of two immigrants from Albania. He considers himself a big time “game head” and is respected as a leader in the pro-am community. In 2016, he founded Slight Work 2K, which is widely regarded as one of the most successful teams in pro-am history, with over 15 team members making it to the NBA 2K League since its start.
